Breaking, Trump Says NO to Second “Virtual” Debate

WASHINGTON DC – President Trump, responding to a question by Maria Bartiromo, while on a phone interview during her FOX Business show, stated “I’m not going to waste my time on a virtual debate, that’s not what debating is all about. You sit behind a computer and do a debate, it’s ridiculous.”

This is after the Commission on Presidential Debates had announced in a press release earlier this morning, citing safety concerns due to COVID, that the format of the second debate would be a virtual town meeting, with each candidate appearing from separate locations. Biden’s campaign had been quick to agree to the new debate format, a format that many believe would server to bolster his performance.

Well update with more information as it becomes available.
